The 2009 Korea Science Festival, the largest science festival in Korea, will be held at the KINTEX in Ilsan. The festival offers a variety of hands-on expereinces with science, exhibitions, lectures and programs. KOFAC began hosting the festival in 1997, aiming to increase people's interest and support for science, and to foster a scientific mindset.
